Entering a value into any one of the three solutions fields (Station, Elevation, or Rate of Grade) will give solutions for the other two. 2nd button will toggle between possible double solutions for a given elevation along a vertical curve

DEFINE VERTICAL CURVE
Enter any two station components of a vertical curve and the other two will be filled automatically
Enter any three vertical components of a vertical curve and the others will be filled automatically
